Flooding forces hospice evacuation in Ulverston, Cumbria

St Mary's hospice in Ulverston was forced to evacuate its patients after a nearby stream swelled to breaking point.

Sue McGraw, director of the hospice, said: "It was really, really frightening."

"We'd never seen anything like it. It was coming in the bedrooms, it was into the offices", she added.

Staff captured their own footage of the moment the water began to cascade, as the BBC's Dave Guest reports.
