BBC News website readers have been sending in their photos from Baroness Thatcher's funeral. The coffin had spent the night before the funeral at the Palace of Westminster. The Speaker's Chaplain, the Rev Rose Hudson-Wilkin, kept vigil in the Chapel throughout the night. John Walker was at Westminster to watch the coffin transferred to a hearse.

The coffin would later be transferred to a gun carriage. The WWI carriage had never been used in a funeral procession before, and will be named after Baroness Thatcher. Rian Kirchhoff took this photo from the Waldorf Hotel, Covent Garden

Hayley Chalmers: "This police rider was at the back of the hearse cortege. Here he waits whilst the coffin is taken from the hearse into St Clement Danes. It struck me as a lovely representation of an individual showing respect."

At the end of the service, the hearse left for the Royal Hospital, Chelsea. Will Crosthwait lives nearby and took this photo of the coffin arriving, noting how few people were there compared to the crowds earlier. You can send your photos to yourpics@bbc.co.uk.
