Shoreham crash pilot 'is an expert'

A friend of the man who was flying the Hawker Hunter jet that crashed on Saturday at Shoreham, West Sussex, says he "is an expert" pilot.

Andy Hill, a former RAF pilot, was taken by air ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and is "fighting for his life", police say.

Neil McCarthy, from Seaton Burn in North Tyneside, told the BBC that the crash during the Shoreham Airshow had devastated everyone involved with air displays.
