The £50m Condor Liberation service has been disrupted by engineering problems

The Condor Liberation ferry from the UK to the Channel Islands is sailing again after engineering problems put it out of action.

Condor Ferries is operating a reduced service , externalon Sunday and Monday and has cancelled the service on Tuesday.

The ferry operator said the cancellation was needed "to consolidate the repairs to the exhaust system on Condor Liberation".

It is hoped a normal service will start again on Wednesday.

The initial problem with the exhaust system was discovered on Thursday and has since caused disruption to the service which runs from the islands to Poole.

The £50m Condor Liberation has offered the only fast ferry between Guernsey, Jersey and the UK, since March.
