A British man says he was "followed" by a tiger shark.

A British man described the moment he was "followed" by a four metre tiger shark off the coast of western Australia.

John Craig from Sunderland had been spear-fishing when he surfaced to find he could not see his boat.

He began to shout and splash to see if he could attract attention. His actions had attracted a tiger shark.
