Afghanistan: UK's resettlement plans will be international effort

The home secretary has said the UK's plans to resettle Afghan refugees are not deliverable "on our own".

Priti Patel told BBC Breakfast a scheme to get up to 20,000 Afghan refugees to the UK will only be possible with help from international partners.

She did not commit to a timescale for the total but did say 5,000 will be welcomed in the first year.
