Protesters burn effigy and clash with police in central London

Hundreds of anti-establishment activists have clashed with police on Bonfire Night.

Protesters also burnt an effigy and set off fireworks near Parliament.

The rally, which is known as the Million Mask March, gathered at Trafalgar Square and then moved on to Parliament Square.

Eight officers were injured and 12 people arrested on Friday, the Metropolitan Police said.
