Michael Gove gets stuck in BBC lift, misses interview

Housing Secretary Michael Gove had a difficult start to the day when he got stuck in a lift at the BBC's Broadcasting House.

Gove, who was due to appear on Radio 4's Today programme, left presenter Nick Robinson waiting in the studio. Robinson likened the situation to the BBC sitcom W1A, which takes a fictional, tongue-in-cheek look at working for the broadcaster.
