Librarian describes ‘joyous’ reaction to Darwin notebooks return

Librarian Dr Jessica Gardner has described her reaction to the return of Charles Darwin notebooks “stolen” from Cambridge University.

The books, worth millions of pounds, were last seen 22 years ago. They include the scientist’s famous “tree of life” sketch.
