UK weather: Thunderstorm warning with flash flooding risk in southern England

The Met Office's amber weather warning is in place until 22:00 BST with intense thunderstorms and showers running up from the English Channel.

Some places will see a couple of inches of rain falling in the space of an hour, while others may see as much as 100mm of rain falling in a short space of time.
