Piers Morgan denies phone hacking after Prince Harry judgement

Journalist Piers Morgan has said he has "never hacked a phone or told anyone else to", after a judge ruled he knew about the practice - and was involved - while editor of the Daily Mirror between 1995 and 2004.

Separately, the High Court ruled Prince Harry was the victim of phone hacking by Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) and awarded him £140,600 in damages.

Mirror Group Newspapers has admitted phone hacking took place, but insists blame cannot be pinned on executives or editors because it says the unlawful activity was deliberately concealed by the journalists.
