Airline launches new route from Newquay to Cardiff

A new daily air service has been launched from Cornwall to Cardiff.
The flights from Newquay Airport to the Welsh capital are being operated by the Plymouth-based airline Air Southwest.
The return flight, which will operate from Monday to Friday, is scheduled to take just over 30 minutes.
Newquay Airport said the new route demonstrated Air Southwest's commitment to developing services to and from Cornwall.
The sale of Air Southwest to Eastern Airways was completed last month.
Its former owner, Sutton Harbour Holdings, made the decision to sell in May after the airline's operating profits fell.
