Wife and daughter charged with Don Banfield murder

The wife and daughter of a London pensioner who vanished 10 years ago have been charged with his murder.
Don Banfield was 63 when he was last seen leaving his house in Wealdstone, north-west London, on 19 May 2001.
Shirley Banfield, 63, and Lynette Banfield, 40, of Ashford Road, in Canterbury, Kent, will appear before West London magistrates on Friday.
They also face charges of conspiracy to defraud, forgery and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Shirley Banfield has also been charged with a further fraud offence of dishonestly retaining a wrongful credit.
They were charged by the Metropolitan Police on Thursday, and were both remanded into custody.
