A former teacher has appeared in court to face child sex abuse charges after being extradited from Holland.
Alan Brigden, 67, from Amsterdam, is accused of 14 offences against children dating back to the 1970s and 1980s.
He did not enter a plea at the magistrates' court hearing in Ipswich and will appear at the town's crown court on 24 January.
It is part of a police investigation into claims of sexual abuse at a private school in Norfolk and Suffolk.
St George's School was based in Wicklewood, Norfolk, and moved to Great Finborough, near Stowmarket, in Suffolk.
Mr Brigden also taught maths at a school in West Sussex.
