Southeastern Trains adds extra seats on busy services

Southeastern Trains has announced an extra 3,500 seats will be added to busy morning peak services.

The company, which runs services into London from Kent and East Sussex, said the increase was in response to growing demand for train services.

The seats will come as a result of a platform lengthening programme by Network Rail.

Southeastern said it hopes to add the 24 longer trains with the extra seats from January 2014.
