Piebury Corner attack: Man injured before Arsenal game

A man has been taken to hospital with head injuries after being attacked by Napoli fans at a restaurant before Arsenal's Champions League match.
The 48-year-old man was taken to Whittington Hospital, in north London, with cuts to his head after he was struck with a metal chair.
The victim was sitting outside the Piebury Corner restaurant near the Emirates Stadium.
The restaurant manager blamed Napoli fans and said his property was damaged.
Smashed window
Police said about 30 Napoli fans were involved in a verbal exchange with Arsenal fans as they passed the restaurant.
The Napoli supporters then smashed a window and threw chairs before moving on, the Met said.
The man has since been discharged from hospital and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Piebury Corner manager Paul Campbell said: "The Arsenal fans were backing away from the trouble, they were trying to get out of the way."
He said the police had taken away CCTV footage.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
Arsenal beat the Italian side 2-0 in the group stage tie.
