Flooded Sonning Bridge opens after two weeks

A bridge over the Thames has reopened after flooding closed it for nearly two weeks.
Sonning Bridge, near Reading, remained shut during the morning rush hour, but had opened by midday.
Oxfordshire County Council said the commuter route, linking Berkshire and Oxfordshire, would not open fully as the road had been damaged.
Temporary traffic lights have been put in place so the flood damage can be repaired.
More than 2,500 people have signed a petition calling for a third bridge, external to be built in Reading.
Support for the new crossing has been growing after the closure caused long delays at Henley and Reading.
The bridge closed on 6 January.
