Birmingham's Springfield Primary School closed after car hits building

A car has been found embedded in the wall of a primary school in Birmingham after a crash in the early hours.
The car crashed through two sets of railings at Springfield Primary School and into the school office, said Birmingham City Council.
The school is closed while the wreckage is cleaned-up and the damage assessed.
West Midlands Police said "no driver or passengers were present" when they got to the school in Springfield Road at 05:00 GMT.
"A clean-up operation is under way and the school should reopen as normal tomorrow," said a council spokesman.
The school has 673 pupils aged between three and 11.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the crash, which involved a white Vauxhall Astra, to contact them.
