Tour de Yorkshire: Cyclist's eye view of route high points

As top cyclists from across the world prepare for the opening stages of the 2014 Tour de France in Yorkshire in July, here's a cyclist's eye view of just some of the highlights of the route.

From busy West Yorkshire market town to bleak North Yorkshire moorland, BBC Look North presenters Harry Gration and Amy Garcia set off later to pedal the same route for Sport Relief.

But instead of using high-tech racing bikes and a full support team, Gration, 63, and Garcia, 32, hope to cycle the 241-mile route in just eight days using nothing more than a traditional tandem.
