Thousands caught speeding on Dartford Crossing

Nearly 25,000 drivers have been caught speeding on the Dartford Crossing since new speed cameras were installed.
Some motorists have been caught driving at 94mph on the QE2 Bridge over the Thames, where the speed limit is 50mph.
Since October 2012, cameras have caught 24,229 people, a Freedom of Information request to Essex Police has revealed.
After the 130-car pile up on the Sheppey Crossing in September there have been warnings that drivers need to reduce their speed on bridges.
A Highways Agency spokesman said safety was a "top priority".
"Speed enforcement cameras at Dartford help to maintain consistent speeds on the crossing and its approaches, helping us improve safety and make journeys more reliable," he said.
"Enforcement of the speed limit is a matter for the police."
