John Surtees donates £75,000 to Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance

A former Formula One world champion has donated £75,000 to help train members of the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.

John Surtees, who was also a four-time 500cc motorcycle world champion, gave the money on behalf of the Henry Surtees Foundation.

The foundation was established in memory of his son who died racing at Brands Hatch, external.

The money will be used to buy training manikins.
