Gemma Simpson case: Man in court

A man charged with the murder of a woman missing for 14 years has appeared in court.
Martin Bell, 44, of St Leonard's Crescent, Scarborough, is accused of murdering Gemma Simpson between 4 May and 3 June, 2000.
Miss Simpson, 23, of Harehills, Leeds, has not been seen since May 2000.
Mr Bell did not enter a plea when he appeared via video link at Leeds Crown Court, and was remanded in custody until 22 July.
