Cannabis plants worth £1m found in Cheshire village

About 1,750 cannabis plants with a street value of more than £1m have been found in a Cheshire village.
Police carried out a drugs warrant at a house in Mill Lane, Little Budworth at about 09:00 GMT.
They found plants in "varying stages of growth" in the loft area of the property.
A 48-year-old man and woman, aged 52, have been arrested on suspicion of cultivating a Class B controlled drug. They are in police custody.
