Parents of missing Mansfield 13-year-old Amber Peat make plea

The parents of a 13-year-old girl who has been missing for nearly three days have pleaded with her to get in touch.

Amber Peat was last seen at home in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire at 17:30 BST on Saturday.

In a news conference held by Nottinghamshire Police, her mother Kelly and stepdad Danny said they just "wanted her home".

Supt Matthew McFarlane told reporters it was "totally out of character" for Amber to go missing.
