A Facebook group was formed after hundreds of people went without tickets

An investigation into alleged ticketing fraud for the Bestival music festival has received more than 250 complaints.

Hundreds of people were left without tickets for the event on the Isle of Wight in September.

Sussex Police have appealed for anyone who believes they have been a victim to contact them.

Ben Hyland-Ward, 18, from Brighton, was arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation and released on bail until 10 November.

More than 900 people joined a Facebook group called "Stresstival" to voice their concern over missing tickets.

The festival featured Missy Elliott, Duran Duran and the Chemical Brothers.
