The two Sudanese men were arrested near Clacket Lane services on the M25

Two suspected illegal immigrants have been found walking along the M25 on the border of Kent and Surrey.

Police stopped the pair near Clacket Lane services after receiving a report of the two men just before 09:30 BST.

The men, who were from Sudan, were arrested on suspicion of illegally entering the UK and will be handed over to immigration officials.

Surrey Police said the pair told them they had arrived by lorry, but there was no trace of it at the scene.
