Goring hydro-electric weir plan opposed by anglers

Anglers and councillors are opposing plans to build three hydro-electric generators on waters in Goring.
A community group wants to build at Goring Lock, on the Oxfordshire and Berkshire border, in a bid to generate renewable power for 300 homes.
But Goring Parish Council and the Angling Trust are are against the scheme, saying it will look unsightly and could be unsafe.
