Suffolk Police said local searches for the calves had been "in vain"

Five Highland cows have been stolen from a field in Suffolk, police have said.

The calves were taken from a field near The Street in Walberswick on 3 February.

There were no signs of escape and local searches for the animals have been in vain, police said.

The force has asked for anyone who witnessed suspicious behaviour or can assist with the investigation to come forward.
