A memorial is to commemorate the work of codebreakers at Bletchley Park in Milton Keynes during World War II .
The sculpture will be situated at the wartime home of the Government Code and Cypher School (GC&CS), now a museum.
Veterans were consulted over the project which is to be dedicated to all those who provided the vital service.
The memorial will be designed by the York artist Charles Gurrey and be dedicated later this year.
A spokesperson from the museum said locating a memorial at Bletchley Park fulfilled the wishes of many veterans and their families.
