Man suffers serious burns in Kempston house fire

A man has suffered serious burns in a house fire in Bedfordshire.
Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service in Kempston and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were called to Bruce Road in the town at 1550 BST.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was treated and stabilised by both teams at the scene, an ambulance service spokesman said.
He was then airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, where his condition was described as serious.
