Police said Billy Dove died from a stab wound

A teenager has appeared in court charged with the murder of a 21-year-old man in a Hertfordshire town.

Billy Dove, from Hemel Hempstead, died from stab wounds after an incident in the town centre in the early hours of Sunday.

The 17-year-old boy from Hemel, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Hatfield Remand Court.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court in the next 48 hours.

Another 17-year-old boy is being questioned by police in connection with the incident.
