Milton Keynes school fire leaves woman and boy injured

The injured woman was a member of staff at Hazeley Academy in Milton Keynes
A six-year-old boy and a 35-year-old woman were injured in a fire in a science laboratory at a Milton Keynes school.
Thames Valley police were called to the incident at Hazeley Academy at about 13:10 GMT on Wednesday.
A woman who worked at the school was airlifted to Stoke Mandeville Hospital after suffering burns to her face and body. She is in a stable condition.
The boy was also taken to hospital with superficial burn injuries to his face.
He is also in a stable condition.
'Ball of flame'
A spokesman for Buckingham Fire and Rescue Service said the incident had been sparked by an experiment.
"It was what appeared to be an experiment in a science lab which caused a ball of flame," he said.
"It was a flash fire which injured two people who were presumably quite close to it."
The Health and Safety Executive has started an investigation into the cause.
A statement on its website says: "There has been an isolated incident in The Hazeley Academy which was dealt with by the emergency services.
"All academy children are accounted for and safe. A member of staff was taken to hospital and we will report later as to any possible disruption to the school day on Thursday."
