Norovirus outbreak shuts three wards at Lister Hospital

Three wards at a Hertfordshire hospital are closed to new admissions after an outbreak of the norovirus bug.

One of the affected wards at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage might reopen after a clean next week, a spokeswoman said.

The Trust has not banned visitors but has asked people who are unwell not to visit until they have been free of symptoms for at least three days.

A spokeswoman said the first ward had been shut on Monday.
