Sonica Hans: New appeal for missing Bedford woman

A new appeal in the hunt for a woman who went missing in Bedfordshire two years ago has been launched by police.
Sonica Hans, 35, was last seen leaving the Priory Court flat in Bedford that she shared with her sister and brother-in-law on Boxing Day in 2012.
Someone matching her description was seen on CCTV near The Swan Hotel on the Embankment a short time later.
Officers want anyone who was in the area to "cast their mind back" to see if they remember seeing her.
Det Ch Insp Juliette Everett, of Bedfordshire Police, said: "We know from CCTV that there were several people out and about on this day .... if you have any information for us, however small or insignificant you think it is, please call us.
"Sonica had never gone been missing before and her family have no idea where she is or why she has never made contact with anyone."
Indian-born Ms Hans left her home with a friend at about 13:30 GMT, telling her sister Manisha she was going to the shops and would be straight back.
There have been no sightings of her or communication from her since, police said.
Extensive searches along the river bank and other police and financial inquiries failed to provide any leads.
In August, around the time of her 37th birthday, detectives reviewed the case and police divers searched the River Great Ouse between Prebend Street and the Slipe Bridge.
Ms Hans, who is about 5ft 3in tall, has long black hair which was dyed dark brown.
She was last seen wearing red trousers, a black jumper and a dark blue jacket.
