A family from Milton Keynes who died in a plane crash while sightseeing in Canada had multiple injuries, an inquest has heard.

Fiona and Richard Hewitt, aged 52 and 50, and their children Felicity, 17, and Harry, 14, died at Les Bergeronnes, Quebec, in August.

Milton Keynes Coroner's Court heard the family died on impact, with a cause of death described as polytraumatism.

The inquest was adjourned until a report into the air crash is completed.

Pilot Romain Desrosiers and French passenger Emilie Delaitre were also killed when the seaplane came down in a forest.
