A man has died after he was fatally injured during an "altercation" in Luton town centre.

Kevin Kelly, 27, from Luton, was died after the incident in Upper George Street just after 05:00 BST, Bedfordshire Police said.

Mr Kelly was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries.

A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is being questioned by officers. Police have appealed for witnesses.
