On 12 December the UK will go to the polls for the third time since 2015.

Voters across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire will be asked to choose 24 members of parliament.

Crime is expected to be a key topic after violent street brawls involving gangs in Luton.

Transport is also likely to be discussed as talks continue over HS2, the high-speed railway line due to be built through the region.
