Milton Keynes: Man, 61, dies in Maidstone Road bakery fall

A 61-year-old man has been killed and another man in his 60s seriously injured in a fall at commercial bakery.
Thames Valley Police (TVP) said it was called at about 13:25 BST on Monday to Lantmännen Unibake in Maidstone Road, Kingston, Milton Keynes.
The company said two contractors fell from height during renovation work.
The force confirmed the man had died and that another man in his 60s suffered serious injuries and was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) said: "We are aware of an incident and making inquiries alongside Thames Valley Police."
Police said: "Sadly, a 61-year-old man has died. His next of kin have been informed and offered support by officers."
It said the injured man remained in hospital.
'Deeply shocked'
Lantmännen Unibake said: "During renovation work on Site One, it appears that two contractors have fallen from height, resulting in serious injury."
It said it was carrying out a full internal investigation and co-operating fully with the HSE.
Wendy Smith, managing director, said: "We are all deeply shocked and saddened by this incident, and our immediate thoughts are with those affected and their families."
Appropriate support was being offered to employees who witnessed the incident, she added.
The company had "rigorous safety standards in place" and was "fully committed to establishing the circumstances behind this incident", she said.
Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews from across the county attended, along with police, paramedics and a dog handler.
The fire service said crews "managed the scene and handed over to Thames Valley Police".
