An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said paramedics were called after a teenage boy fell off his skateboard

An inquest is to open into the death of a teenage boy in a skateboard fall at a Center Parcs resort.

Paramedics were called to the company's Woburn Forest site in Millbrook, Bedfordshire, shortly before 16:00 BST on 26 October.

Alfie Richley, 17, was taken to Bedford Hospital for treatment but later died of his injuries.

An inquest into his death is due to open on Wednesday, according to Bedfordshire and Luton Coroner Service.

The death comes a month after a member of staff died at the site.
