The family of Wayne Ambridge said he was "a loving son, father, husband, brother, uncle and friend".

The family of a man who died after an incident at a Tesco car park says "he will live on in his children".

Wayne Ambridge, 50, was seriously injured during an alleged altercation in Ware Road, Hertford, on 4 November and died five days later in hospital.

Three people have denied murder and are due to stand trial in April.

"Wayne was a loving son, father, husband, brother, uncle and friend," said Mr Ambridge's wife Diana, in a statement.

"He would do anything for anyone. Sadly taken too soon, but will never be forgotten."

Stuart Smith, 42, Karen Lynn, 41, and Charlie Penn, aged 20, all of Cromwell Road, Ware, in Hertfordshire, were charged with murder.

In addition to the murder charge, Mr Smith has also been charged with causing actual bodily harm.
