Driver dies after car park wall collision

Officers attended the scene alongside the ambulance service, including the air ambulance.

A man in his 80s has died after the car he was driving hit a car park wall.

Hertfordshire Police said the collision happened in the car park of the Homecedars House retirement home in Bushey Heath on Wednesday.

The police and ambulance service were called to the car park on Elstree Road shortly before 09:00 GMT but the elderly driver died at the scene.

The force has appealed for anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact them.
