A haulage firm's office building was covered in red paint and had its windows smashed.

Kuehne+Nagel confirmed its site in Kents Hill Park, Milton Keynes, was damaged in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

At the start of the year, the transport firm said 405 of its container ships had been diverted since mid-December because of attacks in the Red Sea.

Thames Valley Police have been approached for comment.

The company, currently based in Switzerland, was founded in Germany in 1890 and had offices in more than 100 countries.

The business said it was working with local authorities while the incident was investigated.
