Man charged after police officer stabbed in Milton Keynes

A man has been charged with multiple offences after a police officer was stabbed following an incident at a petrol station.

Officers were called to BP at Wavendon Service Area in Milton Keynes at about midnight on 8 February, Thames Valley Police said.

A 23-year-old man from Milton Keynes has been charged with three counts of assault of an emergency worker.

He has also been accused of possession of a bladed article and robbery.

Further charges include two counts of sending communication conveying a threatening message, possession of a Class B drug, causing grievous bodily harm with intent, attempted grievous bodily harm and affray.

The suspect will appear at Aylesbury Crown Court next month.
