A bus driver is recovering in hospital after his vehicle crashed into a wall.

Hertfordshire Police said the green single-decker was travelling eastbound on Hatfield Road in St Albans when it collided with at least one other vehicle at about 15:10 BST on Thursday.

The driver is aged in his 60s.

The force appealed for anyone with information, such as dashcam footage, to call 101 or email the investigating sergeant at matthew.o'neill@herts.police.uk.
