Disabled parking badges stolen from cars in Reading

Thieves have stolen disabled badges from five cars in the space of two days in Reading, Berkshire, police have said.
The blue badge thefts all took place in the Whitley area of the town since Monday.
Vehicles were targeted in Woodman Close, Lexington Grove, Sandleford Close, Bob Green Court and Winton Road.
Thames Valley Police is warning drivers not to leave blue badges on display in their vehicles overnight.
Reading crime reduction adviser John McNicholas said: "This is a despicable crime where not only are the victims left with damaged cars, but the people who use these badges are taking disabled bays away from those who genuinely need them."
