A Berkshire parish church has been given more than £100,000 to fix structural problems with its belltower.

St Mary's Church in Hampstead Norreys, near Thatcham, was rebuilt in the 12th Century and restored in 1880.

The £122,000 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund and English Heritage will help rectify problems with the Grade I listed building's tower and bell frame.

More than £150m has been awarded to Berkshire churches under the Repair Grants for Places of Worship scheme.
