Thousands of Reading Festival tickets still on sale

Muse are headlining Reading on Sunday
Thousands of Reading Festival 2011 tickets are still available, four days after going on sale.
In previous years tickets for the rock festival, which is on August Bank Holiday weekend, have sold out within 24 hours.
The tickets went on sale when the line-up was announced on Monday night. The headline acts include My Chemical Romance, The Strokes and Muse.
Reading Festival organiser Melvin Benn was not available for comment.
On Friday, official agent See Tickets said it still had 4,000 weekend tickets on sale, and local theatre The Hexagon also had tickets for the 87,000-capacity festival available. Other outlets are still selling tickets.
The weekend ticket price is £200 including a booking fee.
In 2006 the festival sold out within a record two hours. In 2009 tickets were sold out in a day.
Editor-in-chief of Virtual Festivals website, Dan Fahey, said the poor sales could be due to the recession.
He said: "Reading and Leeds is seen as a sort of a rite of passage for young music lovers and it may be out of their price range."
He added that other new summer music events could be competition for Reading.
