Eleven charged over disorder in Reading

Eleven people, aged between 16 and 39, have been charged following disorder in Reading.

The incidents happened at the Makro store in Elgar Road South early on Wednesday and have been linked to the riots around England.

The individuals, from Tilehurst, Reading and Whitley, are all charged with burglary in joint venture with others and violent disorder.

They are in custody and will appear before Reading magistrates on Friday.
