Bracknell Forest Council to cut 4C bus service

A Berkshire bus service which the local council claims cost it £52 per passenger last year is to be cut.
The 4C, between Bracknell and Maidenhead, was used by 124 passengers in 2011, Bracknell Forest Council said.
The authority said it would no longer subsidise the service during the school holidays, although it will still run as a commercial service in term time.
Mary Ballin, executive member for transport, said the "underused" service was "excessive".
The recommendations were made following a 12-week consultation which looked at the impact of proposed reductions on older and disabled persons.
Ms Ballin added: "There won't be any cuts immediately and if we do have to make any cuts they will have a much more comprehensive study to see where cuts can be made, where they will cause the least convenience to people, and where they're the least used."
