Rocky Horror Show film studios in Berkshire to be converted into housing

A film studios in Berkshire, where scenes for the Rocky Horror Picture Show were filmed, is to be redeveloped.
Down Place, a Grade II listed building at the site, will be converted back into a a private residence and seven eco houses built in the grounds.
The main studio buildings will be knocked down with a new media centre also being built.
Bray Film Studios, near Maidenhead, was famous for its mid-20th Century association with Hammer Films.
Windsor and Maidenhead council approved the plan on Wednesday evening.
The development comes after Bray Management Limited, which own the site, said the studios have been unable to keep up with technological advancements and strong competition from other studios such as Pinewood and Shepperton.
Films shot at the site include The Curse of Frankenstein and The Mummy's Shroud as well as TV series Terrahawks and Inspector Morse.
